This photographic experiment follows the methodology and framework of scientific ‘fieldwork’, where observation and data collection can provide insights into specific environments. Fieldwork adopts this concept, but employs an artistic approach to create a site specific experiment. Fieldwork uses the photogram process to expose the reaction between light sensitive material and the physical forces; water, ice, and light. Fieldwork utilised 19th century alternative photographic process of the cyanotype more commonly known as the blueprint.
